Turkey-Apple Brie Sandwich

This lighter take on a turkey club swaps bacon for crisp apple, proving you don’t have to give up great taste - especially when it’s made with our Stonemill® Sourdough Multigrain Rye.

Made with Sourdough Multigrain Rye Bread

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Stonemill® Sourdough Multigrain Rye Bread, toasted
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) light mayonnaise
  • 8 Boston lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices of tomato
  • 1/4 apple, cored and sliced
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Dijon mustard 4 slices deli-roasted turkey
  • 3 oz (90 g) Brie cheese, sliced

Directions

  1. Spread mayonnaise on 2 slices of Stonemill® Sourdough Multigrain Rye Bread. Top each with half the lettuce leaves, tomato and turkey.
  2. Spread mustard onto 2 more bread slices and top with remaining lettuce, apples, and Brie. Cap each sandwich with a remaining bread slice.
  3. To serve, secure sandwiches with cocktail toothpicks and then cut in half.

Tip: Crunchy apples such as Granny Smith, Honey Crisp and Cortland work nicely in this stacked sandwich.
Substitute deli-roasted turkey with deli-roasted chicken or black forest ham if desired.
