Roasted Tomato, Goat Cheese, Balsamic, and Basil Sandwich

Can a caprese sandwich get any more delicious? Turns out it can! It’s hard to believe, we know, but after trying this recipe in our delicious Roasted Garlic & Sea Salt bread, we think any foodie will agree.

  • 1 slice Stonemill®Bakehouse Roasted Garlic & Sea Salt Bread
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
  • 1/3 cup (40g) goat cheese
  • 4 slices tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 5-6 large shavings Pecorino cheese
  • 3-4 leaves basil


  1. Preheat oven to 425° F
  2. Brush Roasted Garlic and Sea Salt Bread with olive oil
  3. Set bread on a pan lined with parchment paper
  4. Spread goat cheese on one slice of bread
  5. Add some sliced tomatoes to the same slice
  6. Sprinkle with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Italian seasoning, pepper, and pecorino cheese
  7. Bake for 10 minutes
  8. Top with fresh basil and enjoy!
